I worked with older adults with Dementia within the Cardiff and Vale Health Board at St David's Hospital. I had prepared and facilitated these creative session during the pandemic in 2021. These sessions were all conducted online to keep the participants and myself safe from disease. The project theme behind this was national holidays which adapted to making animal based artwork to decorate their wards window sills to brighten up the space. After the sessions had ended, I had left legacy activities for participants to engage with after I had finished the project. The sessions were tailored to the needs of the participants whilst improving mental wellbeing, quality of life, confidence, expression and motor skills.
